About Treasuring God's Word Inductive Bible Studies
There is life-changing power in the Word of God! Our passion is to share the joy of studying the Word of God for itself, encouraging you to spend your time in the words inspired by the Spirit that reveal the heart of the Father.
Treasuring God's Word studies are based on the inductive method of Bible study, in which the majority of your study time is spent interacting directly with the text of the Scriptures. You will be guided in your study through questions that will challenge you to examine the text closely to see what it is saying, to seek the Lord's understanding through sound principles of interpretation, and to respond to what the Lord is showing you in His Word. More than a mere academic exercise, these studies are intended to teach you to personally hear the Lord's voice speaking through His Word. You will be encouraged, challenged, and transformed as you gain a clearer understanding of Who He is, what His purposes are, and how He works in your life.

Skip the fluff and get right to the heart of the text. These studies will encourage you to carefully observe what you are reading and to think critically about what it means. Context is Key
Context is vital to proper interpretation. We use cross-references to allow scripture to interpret scripture. We pay attention to historical settings, and literary genres to guide our understanding. Most importantly, we keep the overall message of the gospel in mind. Our goal is to discern the Lord’s intended meaning for His Word.
Space to Respond
The paperback version of this study is designed with plenty of space for you to answer questions, journal thoughts, ask your own questions, and write out prayers. This is your time to interact with the Lord, to write out the conversation you are having with Him, and to commit to live in His truth.
Use Individually or With a Group
Each lesson includes a Wrapping it Up section, perfect to use either as private journaling prompts or as small group discussion starters! For those who would like to use this study in a small group, there are tips for leading small group discussions included in the appendix.
