Deep Study,
Solid Truth

Go beyond surface-level Bible study and discover the joy of digging deeply into Scripture for yourself. Treasuring God’s Word inductive Bible studies guide you through careful observation, interpretation, and application, helping you understand the Bible in context, know the Lord through His Word, and confidently apply His truth to your life.

Let’s get serious about Bible study!

You don’t need to be a Bible scholar to study Scripture deeply. You just need the right tools and a willingness to dig in.

Treasuring God’s Word Bible studies are designed to take you directly to the biblical text. Instead of simply telling you what a passage means, each study guides you through Observation, Interpretation, and Application, helping you discover what Scripture says, understand it in context, and consider how its truth should shape your life.

These are in-depth studies, but they aren’t meant to be intimidating. With clear questions, practical guidance, and a manageable structure, you’ll learn to slow down, notice what’s actually in the text, and grow in confidence as you study God’s Word for yourself.

Psalm 1 describes the person who delights in God’s Word and meditates on it as a tree planted by streams of water—rooted, nourished, and fruitful. That’s the heart behind Treasuring God’s Word: not simply completing another Bible study, but learning to linger in Scripture, understand it, and delight in the God who has revealed Himself through it.

“But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers.”
— Psalm 1:2–3

Inductive Bible study begins with the Word of God itself. Rather than starting with someone else’s conclusions, you learn to slow down, carefully observe what Scripture says, understand it in context, and then consider how its truth applies to your life.
Over time, this way of studying Scripture helps you become a more careful and discerning reader of God’s Word. When you encounter a teaching or interpretation, you’ll be better equipped to return to Scripture and ask, “Is that really what God said?”
Most importantly, Bible study isn’t simply about knowing more—it’s about knowing God. As you learn to understand His Word more accurately, you grow in your knowledge of the One who gave it to us.

Knowing what the Bible says is the foundation for knowing truth. Slow down and look carefully at the biblical text. Notice key words, repeated ideas, people, places, contrasts, and connections before deciding what the passage means.

Based on 2 Peter 1:20-21, our interpretation answers the question, “What does the Lord want me to know?” Consider the passage in its context. Ask questions, examine the author’s purpose, and let Scripture help you understand Scripture.

Our aim in application is a changed life through a transformed heart, a transformation that begins at the cross of Jesus. Walk in His grace and love, which empowers and encourages us to live the truth we learn.

Breath of Fresh Air

I have LOVED this study!! I have thoroughly enjoyed the depth and context this study has provided. It did such a great job of setting up the history, time and place, Habakkuk happens in. She digs deep into the scripture and utilizes cross references and scripture to interpret scripture. There are way too many surface level studies out there and this one has been such a breath of fresh air!

Frequently Asked Questions

Rachel Collins

For more than 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of studying God’s Word alongside women in the local church and helping others learn how to study Scripture for themselves. I’ve taught hundreds of women and teens to use the inductive Bible study method—and I continue to be amazed by what happens when we slow down and really dig into God’s Word.

That’s the heart behind Treasuring God’s Word. I write in-depth Bible studies that guide you directly into Scripture, helping you observe the text carefully, understand it in context, and apply its truth to everyday life.

I believe Bible study can be both deep and accessible. You don’t need a theology degree or years of experience. You simply need a desire to know God, a willingness to spend time in His Word, and some practical tools to help you along the way.

My hope is that as you study, you won’t simply know more about the Bible—you’ll know its Author more deeply, delight in His Word, and become like the tree of Psalm 1: deeply rooted and bearing fruit.
