Deep Study,
Solid Truth

Slow down and dig deeply into Scripture. Treasuring God’s Word studies guide you into the biblical text, asking questions that help you notice what it says, understand what it means, and consider how its truth should shape your life. Bible study isn’t simply about knowing your Bible better. It’s about knowing the Lord through His Word.

Let’s Get Serious About Bible Study!

You don’t need to be a Bible scholar to study Scripture deeply. You just need the right tools and a willingness to dig in.

Treasuring God’s Word studies are designed to take you directly into the biblical text. You’ll spend your time reading Scripture, asking questions, noticing what’s there, and learning to reason carefully through what it means. My role isn’t simply to tell you what I’ve learned. I want to give you the tools and guidance to dig into God’s Word for yourself.

Psalm 1 describes the person who delights in God’s Word and meditates on it as a tree planted by streams of water—rooted, nourished, and fruitful. That’s the heart behind Treasuring God’s Word. The goal isn’t simply to finish another Bible study. It’s to know God through His Word. Let’s linger in His goodnes, delight in His truth, and allow it to take root in our lives.

“But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season
And its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers.”
— Psalm 1:2–3

Inductive Bible study begins with the Word of God itself. Rather than starting with someone else’s conclusions, you learn to slow down, carefully observe what Scripture says, understand it in context, and then consider how its truth applies to your life.
Over time, this way of studying Scripture helps you become a more careful and discerning reader of God’s Word. When you encounter a teaching or interpretation, you’ll be better equipped to return to Scripture and ask, “Is that really what God said?”
Most importantly, Bible study isn’t simply about knowing more—it’s about knowing God. As you learn to understand His Word more accurately, you grow in your knowledge of the One who gave it to you.

Before you can understand what a passage means, you need to see what it actually says.
Slow down and look carefully at the biblical text. Notice key words, repeated ideas, people, places, contrasts, and connections before deciding what the passage means.

Our goal in interpretation isn’t to decide what a passage means to us, but to understand what the Lord intended it to mean.
Consider the passage in context, examine the author’s purpose, and let Scripture help you understand Scripture.

Once we understand what the text means, we can consider how its truth should shape our lives.
What have you learned about God, yourself, and His truth? How should you respond in faith and obedience? Biblical application is more than changing our behavior; it flows from a heart being transformed by the truth of God’s Word.

Breath of Fresh Air

I have LOVED this study!! I have thoroughly enjoyed the depth and context this study has provided. It did such a great job of setting up the history, time and place, Habakkuk happens in. She digs deep into the scripture and utilizes cross references and scripture to interpret scripture. There are way too many surface level studies out there and this one has been such a breath of fresh air!

Frequently Asked Questions

Rachel Collins

For more than 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of studying God’s Word alongside women in the local church. I’ve led women’s Bible studies and young adult ministry, trained small-group leaders, taught teens and adults to study Scripture inductively, and spoken at women’s events and retreats.

But some of my favorite moments happen around a table with open Bibles, asking questions and watching someone discover something in the text she’s never noticed before. I love helping women learn to study Scripture for themselves—not simply giving them my answers, but giving them tools to slow down, look carefully, and see what God has said.

Treasuring God’s Word grew out of those years of ministry and a desire to create accessible, in-depth Bible studies for women whose lives are already full. My prayer is that these studies will help you drink deeply from God’s Word, know Him more intimately, and grow in your faith.

I can’t wait to come alongside you as you discover the joy of a deeper walk with the Lord through studying His Word!
