Treasuring God’s Word exists to help women slow down, look carefully at Scripture, and know the Lord more deeply through His Word. I want you to know the care that goes into these resources and how I use editorial tools, including AI, in preparing them.
The Bible studies
The biblical study, teaching, and study questions in my books are developed and written by me. I personally study the Scriptures, consult trusted biblical resources, and write each lesson and question. AI does not generate the teaching or study questions.
The books also undergo human editing and proofreading. Tools such as Grammarly may assist with grammar and clarity, but they do not replace my writing or the work of human editors.
Throughout the writing process, I seek to handle Scripture faithfully, paying careful attention to biblical context, comparing Scripture with Scripture, and consulting reliable reference materials when appropriate. Each published study has been submitted for pastoral review and approved for use in the church ministry where it was originally developed.
The website and blog
Blog posts draw from my personally written teaching manuscripts and study material. I use AI-assisted tools to help organize that existing material, prepare drafts from it, and refine its presentation for the website. This assistance helps me share teaching from my library while preserving time for the careful study and writing that go into the books.
AI is not permitted to invent biblical teaching, interpretations, illustrations, or personal experiences for these posts. The substance comes from my own work, either previous teaching material or materially that I wrote specifically for that post. I personally review and rewrite the drafts, check their faithfulness to the source material and Scripture, and take responsibility for what is published.
Marketing and promotional material
AI tools may also help with wording for product descriptions, website content, and promotional materials. I review and approve these materials to ensure they accurately represent the studies and the purpose of Treasuring God’s Word.
My commitment to you
Whether you open one of my Bible studies or read an article here, my desire is to guide you back to Scripture, not to substitute my words for your own careful study of God’s Word.
In Acts 17:11, the Bereans are commended for examining the Scriptures daily to see whether what Paul taught was true. If Paul’s teaching was worthy of that kind of examination, how much more should mine be?
I encourage you to examine everything you hear or read against Scripture, including what I teach. Read each passage in its context, consider what the text actually says, and let God’s Word be the authority by which you evaluate my words.
